Words To Respect

In the mutual respect of social relationships is the main thing. This way we can feel from one person to another call. Calling someone by name mas / mba / mother / etc on the back of the pack is the name of one of the ways we honor someone. And what about the Japanese people huh?

In Japanese culture is the same, they use certain words in the back of the name when the name of another person. For those of you who study Japanese language course is common with the word "san". The word is used when a person's name to give the impression of respect. In the Indonesian language word may be translated mas, mba, mother, etc. pack.

For me that has long struggled in the field of teaching Japanese Idioms think this word is very common at all. Sometimes I even mention the name of someone + san with anyone he does not care or do not understand Japanese. At the time of hearing the word san, many of them ask "what the heck was san"? I replied that san mas / mba / pack / mother etc.. Now many of those who called me with the word "san" without mentioning my name. SAN hello how are you? SAN ngak busy? And so on.

Hmmm ... keliatannya nothing less than my explanation .. ^ _ ^
Here are some common suffix used on the back of another person's name along with their meanings:

A. ~ SAN (さん)
It is most commonly used because it can be addressed both for men and women.
2. ~ KUN (训)
Usually directed to a child / adolescent boys are more junior / youth of the call. Often also used by women to men who have emotional closeness (usually a spouse) or are familiar with the old / familiar.
3. ~ CHAN (ちゃん)
Used to a child / adolescent women who are more junior / youth of the call.
4. ~ SAMA (様)
Is the call of honor. Usually the name is juxtaposed with the ~ SAME people who we respect greatly. Able to those who level position / social well above us, or to people who are very instrumental in our lives.

* Do not forget to mention the name + san / kun
